Whether you are choosing a crystal for a certain purpose or whether you are just interested in the look and feel of them it is always best to be guided by your intuition. I love going to my supplier or preparing for my day and looking at what crystal I am drawn to for that day. When buying a crystal for my personal use, I will always run it under water and place it out in the sunlight for 2-4 hours before use. The crystal you choose will have changed through a lot of different hands before it gets to you, from the miner, transport, wholesaler, and then to the retailer and on to you. So it is very important to cleanse your crystals of any energy that it may contain before placing your own energy over it. Once they are cleansed I will hold it in my hands and ask the Heavenly Angels to bless this crystal for good in my life and my families.
